Is the 20% buyers fee a standard?????? Seems steep to me, but i dont buy from auction houses like them.

they have some nice bust coinage that i want, but i just cant get past that additional fee.
Family, kids, coins, sports (playing not watching), jet skiing, wakeboarding, Big Air....no one ever got hurt in the air....its the sudden stop that hurts. I hate Hurricane Sandy. I hate FEMA and i hate the blasted insurance companies.

They charge 20% on ebay and 15% if you do the bidding from their web site for the same coins. I asked ebay about this once. Their idiotic response was that they are allowed to charge the same commission on their ebay auctions that they charge floor bidders. Figure that one out.

Most pros who bid for people live at auctions charge 5%. Since they charge you 5% (above and beyond the 15% buyer's premium) whether you bid on line, through Ebay or through a live on-site knowledgeable person representing your interests who can assess the coin, give the lay of the land and some advice, I've decided the latter is clearly the way to go.
