I've been looking for a nice example of this coin for years!

Thanks to R&I coins for sending me the newest addition to my collection, a 1964 PR69DCAM Kennedy. I've been looking for years to find a nice one. They're hard to find nice.

About 8 years ago I started assembling a 1964 Proof Set in 69DCAM. The Kennedy has been the stopper. It also allowed me to upgrade my Registy Proof sets 1964, 1964 with Varieties.

Now if Russ will donate his AH 68DCAM I'll be finished. image

  • Congratulations!
Does your heart pound when you look at it for the first time? Do you keep checking to see if the FedEx of Mail man has come yet? Do you not even worry that it had a bit of a premium to it?
If not, then you are a person of ice and steel!
    Again, congratulations.

    Dick,

For me every coin I receive is like a package on Christmas day, when you're 4 years old. I never gets old!

When I left for lunch today, the mail hadn't been delivered. When I returned I saw the mail on the office managers desk. Nothing looked like a package for me. Later, I was given my mail. As I sifted through it, I felt a thick package. I tried to hide my excitement as I closed my office door. I quickly ripped opened the package to find my coin. image

    Dan,

I will certainly give that idea all of the consideration that it merits. image

Ahhh, come on Russ. I'll give it a nice home.

Besides, it would be good to show the AH what it will look like when it grows up. image

    Dan,

You know, that would only tie you for #1 all time finest. You'd need to find one of the three 70DCAMs to take top spot. BTW, any idea who John is? He is, afterall, one of the few; the proud; the owners of a PR68DCAM Accented Hair. image

I'm done! I started assembling this set 8+ years ago because it was the end of the silver era, no other reason. The Kennedy in 69DCAM has been tough to find. Job finished. Now, back to 19th century coins. image

PS If you've going to be out of town for a while and need someone to watch the AH, think of me. image
