I'm assuming that this thread is related to the 55 AA Tinsley err that was auctioned recently. The link didn't work, but all the other info adds up. I'm curious as to what the 8 would bring as well. I just received grades on some 55s that I submitted and had a Tinsley err grade 8oc. I know that qualifiers usually kill interest in a card, but where would you guess mine would fall given the rarity of this issue? I would guess that your 8 would easily fetch $1,500 if the right bidders were fighting for it. Wasn't there a BVG 8 auctioned a while back? What did it bring?
Another one of those cards in a PSA 6 holder also sold for just over $400 about a month ago. Those are the only two Tinsley error cards I've seen auctioned off in PSA holders in over two years of searching on ebay. Seems like all the big '55 AA set collectors are trying to get this card to complete the "master" set. These high prices could also cause a lot more collectors to have their Tinsley errors graded, so now might be the time to sell. I doubt, however, that anybody has a raw Tinsley error card laying around in NM/MT condition, so you definitely have a gem in your PSA 8, Art! It also seems that this card is almost always terribly centered, which means collectors might be able to look past the OC, Tito.
How's the centering on your 8, Art? Could you post a scan, please?

Hmmm ... SMR for a 6 is $ 50.00 and for an 8 is $ 175.00.
Might be time for a + or two in the next issue ...
