PSA Submission Voucher

I received 9 free submissions at the Modern Bulk Service for cards that were not graded.

Bulk Service for Modern Cards is a minimum of 100 cards. I don't have to submit 91 cards and use the 9 free to use these vouchers do I?

Can't I just submit the 9 cards?

  • dale no you do not have to submit 100 just send the 9 cards with your voucher and the return ship cost for the 9 cards

I have about 25-30 of these vouchers form the past two years. Many are from different levels of service, (set reg. specials, express, collectors club specials, etc.,) has anybody listed all on one invoice and submitted? Or do you have to break them down and list the same levels of service on one invoice, another level of service on another invoice, etc.,

    Thanks

  • mark sad to say but all have to be sent in on there own for the same spec they were from.I tried to send all on 1 invoice 1 time and they kicked them back. The best part is you have to pay ship cost on each invoice so the 1 voucher still cost you 13 bucks in ship costs.Maybe we could pool ours and save on shipping image

Actually, I called once and they let me combine two different types of vouchers together.... they did say you have to always call them and get the OK first. So it might be worth a try for a few of them..... the only other problem I can think of is that I believe the vouchers expire after 4 or 6 months? (it's written on them).

    Good Luck

    Hey Art,

Thanks for sharing your experience on the subject. One of these days I'll probably fill out 20 invoices with one or two cards each and drop them off at a PSA Saturday and pick them up the next to save on shipping.

Right now I can only think of two advantages to living in Orange County, Ca and one is the weather and the other is living 8 miles from PSA.

    Mark,

You might be able to send in a bunch of different ones if you A) get permission from PSA and B) agree to accept the lowest service level of all the vouchers that you send for the entire invoice. Just a thought.

  • ofcourseitwasa10,

You are correct. 6 months and they are invalid. Twenty of these just became a small donation to this weeks paper drive.

The last six are on the same service level, so I should have no problem running them on the same invoice.

Oh well, I'll have to keep a closer eye on the date of these things.

    Lesson Learned,

I've never understood why they don't just send a voucher worth a certain amount, good toward any service. I have a pile of expired vouchers here, too, for services I haven't used for 6 months.

  • I personally have used PSA certificates that were expired. I'd call and ask before recycling them. Also, if PSA says they won't accept them, you should check with your state. Many states have laws that require companies to honor gift certificates, vouchers, et. al. even if they have expired (caveat: I am not a lawyer, but do know a few good lawyer jokes).

Edited to hide the fact that, in addition to not being a lawyer, I also don't type very well.
