My Frirst Submission

Pretty satisfied overall. Proves I still have an eye for quality! The 8ST on the
66 OPC must have been from the grader spilling his coffee.

  • Sweet submission, Kimo.

Sorry about the '66 OPC 8ST. I recently had a '72 OPC Stargell come back with the ST qualifier as well. After looking at it, there was a small wax stain on the back. I really didn't look at it that closely before submitting. Oh well, live and learn.

    Nice job, though!

stain or not. i'm happy with an 8 on the opc. how is the opc rough cut looked at?
I've got some others I'd like to see graded.
  • The rough cut is considered a "factory cut" and is not downgraded. Consequently, non-rough cut cards are probably scrutinized more closely for evidence of trimming. I prefer my OPC's to be a little fuzzy on the edges - it lets me know that I've got an original, unaltered card.

"stain or not. i'm happy with an 8 on the opc."

Unfortunately, the ST qualifier I received was on a PSA 6! image (I had submitted hoping for a straight PSA 7, but missed the wax stain).
