The question is if you bought it would you strike anything. In his book, Frank Robinson told the story of picking up a french pattern die and having some pennies ground down to strike. Just like the dealer who struck some CSA dollars. It would be kind of cool to make your own rarity. (No, I am not a shady coin dealer...)
If I bought it, I would save this one as a master and goto a private mint and get copies of the die done and use those to make uniface "trials" on eBay, with a proper disclaimer of course.
