Al spent the whole afternoon and some of the evening re-doing the pictures in his set so everyone could see his beautiful dimes. He described his 18S as ugly. What do you think ? I like the coin much. Others that are Way Cool are his 25D, man look at that strike, his 26D and 27S. When viewing his coins you must take a look at the Killer Die Clashed 44P which shows clash on both obverse and reverse.

Surely you are not talking about me. I'm not old! I went to my 30 year high school class reunion last Saturday, let me tell you, there were some old people there though!
So Ken, you going to get on the phone with me and walk me through it?

I can appreciate the effort you went through to add the pics to your set. Great job, and thanks for sharing.
I looked at every coin, and my favorites were the '17-S, '21-P ('cause I don't have one!), '26-D (great strike; don't have that one either!), '27-D (very nice for a 64FB), and the '30-S (beautiful evenly toned coin!). Several looked like they were semi-prooflike: the '34-D, '38-S, '41-S, and '42-S. Am I right about any of those? Wild toning on that incredible '39-D in 68FB. And Ken's right about your '44-P; I've never seen such strong clash marks on the obverse of a Merc.
Maybe this will inspire me to update the pics for my 1934-45 Mercs.
Oh yeah, the '18-S isn't your prettiest coin, but it does have nice bands. I give it a .

I checked the coins you mentioned for prooflike, and your right on all counts, the strongest are the 38-S and the 42-S .Boy how I wish all my coins looked like that 39-D,and anygrade would suite me.Al
Great set - I agree with the above dates but I especially like your 27-D in 64FB, and the 25-D in 66FB in fact I really really like the 25-D in 66FB!
One of these days I'm going to need help in getting my pictures up. I can't fathom when I will have, yikes " a couple of hours" to spare - but I can dream
Keep it up!
