Scam involving paypal

I know this is a little off topic, but thought I'd share the latest scam I have just run into. Somehow, some cheese wad, got access to my paypal account through my email address. I really don't know how, but they sent me some bogus payment, got into my paypal and then forwarded it to another email address. In the meantime, they block incoming messages from paypal so you really don't see unless you go into your paypal account. To their credit, paypal was very helpful this morning and we got everything stopped or reversed, then changed all the passwords and security questions in paypal and my email. I realize this isn't about sets registered but I have done business with many of you out there and thought maybe you all might want to check your paypal. I wish they would start sticking these clowns in prison and let they feel how much they could be loved.
Stan Musial topped the .300 mark 17 times and won seven National League batting titles. A three-time MVP, he played in 24 All-Star Games. Probably, the greatest player who is overlooked and underappreciated.

  • Question 1) Do you have a high speed internet connection?

Question 2) Do you leave your computer on?

Question 3) Do you use any Firewall software?

If the answer is yes to first two and no to the last, then you have probably been hacked and there is a control program running on your computer that lets the hacker have access to all your files as well as being able to run any programs on your computer.

What this means is that everything is vulnerable, any stored passwords on the system are his and even if you change them it won't make a difference if you use the Windows saved password feature. He could also run your Email program and delete the inbound messages from PayPal.

My suggestion would be to get the latest virus detection software and run it on your computer. Also change all your passwords and do not use the Windows save my password option. Then go and get ZoneAlarm Firewall software at www.zonelabs.com ( I believe its free ) and install it. This will protect your computer from the hacker control program, by eliminating their ability to use Windows security flaws.

    Hope this helps,
