I recently bought some 1955 Czechoslovakian commemorative proofs that have the original cellophane wrappers, should I take them off or leave it as is?

They haven't already gone brittle? That's a problem with cellophane -- and when the crack, they can scratch. I'm not aware of any bonus to their value if left in, other than a sort of certification that the coins are "fresh". Maybe one of our dealers knows more.
