I have come across a significant number of late 19th and early to mid 20th century tokens - all US. How does one begin to price these?

Take good, clear photos, give accurate descriptions, and put them on eBay. Let them bring what they bring. Whatever you get is probably what they are worth. The market for this material is thin so you may have some disappointments.

Give us a little more detail as to type etc, and we can give you a ball park idea.
How do you know their age.
