Morgan Collectors…Need Opinion

Got a deal on a tougher date CC Morgan. The coin is a strong dmpl, and at first glance looks to be a nice 63dmpl. However, a closer inspection revealed hundreds of hairlines on both sides of the coin. I initially thought they were dielines. When I looked at the coin under a glass, I can clearly distinguish both heavy dielines and hairlines (the hairlines travel in a different direction than the dielines).

The hairlines are neither deep nor overtly distinguishable, however they are plentiful. I’m guessing the coin was most likely wiped. Will pcgs slab such a coin or possibly market grade it down to a 61 or 62? I have a few days remaining on the return policy and can’t decide whether or not to take a chance on it, or cut the potential losses now. If the coin slabs at any grade, it's a winner.

I posted the question on Q&A….unfortunately I posted after DH’s bedtime, so any input would be greatly appreciated.

Al.
