    It's pretty cool, with nice toning. I don't know anything about model coins. Does it have a silver center?

    It looks similar to an 1846 private pattern by smith in copper, but smaller
    edited to add: there was a restrike in white metal as well-maybe a combination?

    Yeah, but that extra cent costs you another $1.10 in listing fees...

    There's been a few threads on these here and it seems that around $50 is the going price on them in this condition. Try doing a search on LordMarcovan's posts on this forum for the last couple years. Use the keyword "model" in both title and body and you'll find some good info.
