Uh, gee, guys ... it's not all that rare ...

... of a medal: 1934 - FIFA World Cup - Romaimage

A good example of why not to get caught up in "must-win fever". image

"Must-win fever" is right. I've bought from that seller several times, and I can tell you he's legit. Doesn't hype his auctions, always starts with low bids and no reserve. Ships from Sweden in a matter of two or three days. Whatever's going on in this auction is not of his doing.

Yes, if anything, Lars provides too little info on his material, but he's a very dependable seller. The medal these guys are royally überbidding should have gone for a tenth its current bid, maybe $36 tops.

BTW, Askari, how do you get diacritical marks on your text in these forums, ie. the umlaut over the "u" in uber?

Like all good wizards ... I cheat! image

I went into Word and used the Symbols function to list the characters I wanted and made up a little notepad page from them which I saved to my desktop. Whenever I need it, I open, copy and paste. it works like magick!! image
