Another favorite oddball coin...

So, is it a coin or a medal? It's listed in my references as both!

What country and year? What two denominations? image

Quite unfortunate those adjustment marks on the reverse. Of course I *did* get it for a good price as a result. image

Cisalpine republic, northern italian revolutionary state founded by napoleon.
    30 soldi (50 soldi on coin?) 1801, .684 silver

Edited to add: I love this coin! Very, very nice and the adjustment marks aren't too bad-certainly the young lady on the obverse is unblemished (slight breast rub?)

The bust is very beautiful--very classical. So, the Republic of Cisalpina?! How many countries did this Bonaparte engender??
