Hairlines

Mr. Hall,

I have an unc. dmpl CC Morgan with both dielines and hairlines galore. The hairlines are not deep (and not noticeable at first glance), however they are numerous. Will pcgs holder such a coin? What type, severity, or number of hairlines on a dmpl morgan will preclude pcgs from grading such a coin?

Al...Depends on the severity of the hairlines. Unless they look like a brillo pad, PCGS would probably grade the coin with the severity of the hairlines being a big factor in the final grade.
