OK, as a newbie, maybe there is a terminology page somewhere, but what do you guys refer to when you talk about the darkside, lightside, grayside . . .?

Darkside is this forum. The World & Ancient Coins Forum.
Liteside is the U.S. Coins Forum.
Grayside is applied to Canadian coins.

The Dark Side is also the US & World Currency Forum. These are terms unique to the Collectors Universe forums, by the way.
