nice coins and in the MS65-66 range. The CA may go 66 and the Alabama is 65 WITH A SHOT AT 66 IMHO.

Both are great coins, 65 minimum but I think of the two the Alabama would make 66.

I like these coins as MS64s, the strike on the 'bama is a little uneven and a few marks that could make it 63 on a really bad day, the California seems to have a few hairlines in the fields that could limit the grade.

but mostly I say 64 because that is the "value grade" I'd be shopping for these issues in image

    Both are NGCs?

My wag is....65 on the Cali

    63 on the Bama.

  • Both ANACS MS62!image

If they weren't going into the Dansco, I'd send them to PCGS for grading!image

he's going to break them out. they're "going into the Dansco" according to Claus
such collectors care about coins more than the plastic that is sometimes around them.

Even though they are not PCGS slabs, they do look NICE!!!

you know what? there are lots and lots of coins that are not certified by PCGS, that still look nice.
