The good thing about having multiple personalities is that there's always a designated driver.

Yes, I'm an agent of Satan but my duties are largely ceremonial.

I would say 62, nothing to get excited about...
  • It looks like it has nice luster and a pretty good strike. It looks like it could go MS 63 from the scan.

It's a very nice coin, with hairlines in the field in front of the portrait. IMO. The pics below are different angles of one of mine with what looks like a similar field.

hard to say for sure with a scan....something between 58 and 64 IMO....thats alot of wiggle room huh. image
  • I'd agree with what's been said. A Peace $ that hasn't been cleaned will look like a spray painted surface under magnification. if you see lines in the "easy to reach" areas and no lines in the deep crevices in the hair, then it's been harshly cleaned. If it is indeed a AU coin AND is blazing white, I'd mark it "dipped" as well.

I never noticed before but do all Peace dollars have a big gap in the lettering between the I and The B on the obv. It's not even.

  • Looks like it has a lot more luster than most other ones I've seen.
