1992D Close AM graded and in fantastic plastic...

Hello All,
I know several people are very interested in this coin so I will give you an update on it. I did not have the time to plead to PCGS to recognize this rarity so it was sent to the guys across the street I believe they are called. NGC authenticated and graded it as "Close AM" this past week. It should show up it their pop report sometime late tomorrow. It was graded 1992 D Close "AM" MS 65 RD. I want to post pics but my new Nikon Coolpix 5400 and my software are currently having a fistfight. I cannot get my software to reduce the pics any smaller tham 56k which I know will not post to this website. Any idea's you Nikon experts?? Please PM me!!!
One more questions to the experts......Should I pursue this issue with PCGS. Is it worth my time and effort to get them to grade and recognize it? It's in the darn Redbook but I don't think us error freaks should have to go through so much hassle to get it recognized. Remember the Wide AM's? I am sure many of you know what I am talking about. Opinions please. Shouldn't the error people get a little more respect and consideration?

P.S.- Mr. Hall- You have my email, if you could speed up the PCGS recognition process, you can break out the bandsaw and re-grade/reslab her if you'd like!!!

not sure you need 5 graded to make the pop report. Take the 58DDO, its in the pop but only a pop of one. I believe you need at least 5 to make the registry.
That's still a great Ebay coup, and a great result. Always pays to keep your eye out on Ebay. Congratulations!!
Here's a warning parable for coin collectors...
Good luck.

That's a great piece of news. Congratulations. Do you really ant it in a PCGS holder? If so, I think you could write David Hall a brief note, describe the coin and explain that NGC has recognized this variety; also that it is listed in the current Red Book. He will respond, though it may take him a little while since PCGS is still pretty busy. Worse comes to worse, keep it in the NGC holder - it's still got to be worth a lot more than you paid for it. That is going to be a rarity. Good job.

Thank you!! I appreciate your opinions. You guys are first class acts!!!
Thanks, Chris
