Anyone attending the Heritage Nov Sig. Sale?

Just curious if anyone is planning on being at the auction. I have 2 proof halves that I am looking at; I want to get one of them, but I am scared to put legitimate bids on both because I don't want to be stuck with both. I was wondering if anyone was going to be there who could bid on my behalf.

Does Heritage offer a "maximum expenditure" option?

Andy, I think they do. I was going to look into this also. I'll post back when I find out. mike

They do offer that service, but you will have to send in a fax bid form with that option stated or simply call them. The only thing is, the first coin to come up is the coin you win if you are the high bidder, then your bid is cancelled for the second, since you reach your spending max.

The problem is if you really like the second coin first, but are underbidder, its hard to go back an rebid higher on the first one to come up if its already lost on the floor. If your max bid on the first coin is exceeded before it gets to the floor, then you may have a chance to go back with a higher for the first coin. But, I believe the coin has to be over 5,000k for heritage to bid for you after the internet portion closes.

Hmmm.

I would rather have the 2nd coin (1st coin has some dark toning). I guess I can look into this
maximum expenditure thing, and make sure that all of the various things I am bidding on won't
push me over into two coin territory if the other bids lose.
