My very first PCGS submission is back :-))

For my very first try and picking out the coins myself to send I think I fared very well. The 1992-D was just a very nice penny I found that had unique luster for the year so I sent it along to see what it would get and I can't complain I guess. I surely figured one of the 70-S's would make a 66 holder but still not complaining because it was my first try.

Too bad you didn't make at least one MS66.

Now the important part... was this an economy, and what was the arrival date? I'm waiting on on that arrived on 15 Sep. I can type the invoice number in my sleep.

How strong was the rainbow toning? Normally any more than a hint of non-red color and it gets bumped to RB... way to beat that!

this order was sent in on Sept 9th if I remember correctly on modern service if I do remember correctly. When I called them they told me to expect the 64 day economy service that the website advertised and was shocked to see my order back already.

rainbow toning was approx 10-15% of the diameter of both sides of the 70-S's. Came out of a Gem BU roll. I sent 6 to PCGS and 2 to ANACS to compare scoring of the coins. Maybe I'll get my 66's out of the ANACS holders. I sent them the 2 best coins from the roll.

I almost forgot to add so that PCGS fans don't get upset at the ANACS thing....my point in that statement was that my scores from them should come back no worse than my highest PCGS score but then it should not come back probably any higher than a 66 being they were the 2 best pennies from the batch. If it swings to the extreme one way or the other then I know PCGS is the only way to grade but if its close then I guess it doesn't matter who does the grading but comes down to who is faster at which I have to admit currently is PCGS being I sent both orders the same day and ANACS told me on the phone Thursday that I have approx 3-4 weeks more before my order is complete.
