1946-MS65-The strike looks a bit weak and there are some ticks here and there.
    1950-Looks MS66 to me.

Both are nice coins. Both have hits on the eagle leg, and coin two has chatter on the neck. Both are prime focal areas. The toner is lovely, but has an additional hit on the forehead. I'd count them as MS65 and MS64.

I want to say 66 and 66... seeing DHeath's post, I noticed the hit (nicely hidden by the shadow image)... so I'd drop it to a 64/65.

    PS- Nice toner image

The first one I say MS65 and the second one is a very beautiful coin but I think a grade of MS63 looks about right. mike image

The 46S in the NGC 66 holder probably got a grade of 66. If it was in a PCGS holder, it would probably be a 65. I would say the raw 50P will probably get a 64 grade due to the chatter on Georges neck and the bid ding in the eagles left leg. Nice looking coins.

I missed that ding on the eagle's leg on the 1950. image That would probably keep it from grading higher than MS64. Still, it's a very nice looking toner. image

the 1946-S was graded MS64 by NGC, probably due to little nicks on the cheek and leg.

the 1950 I grade MS64 also, probably 63+ technically but gets a half point for the toning.

both coins have the nice luster I like to see on an uncirculated coin and decent but not outstanding strike.

Mikey and Xpipedreamer, thanks, the pics are with window and Tensor light, using a Sony camera.
