I got 9 rolls of cents today...

Would have gotten ten but they had 1 half dollar left in which I needed for my album.
I got:
8 Wheaties:1941,1946,1948d,1951d,1953d,1953d,1955d,1957d
1 canadian cent:1991
2 'S' mint Lincoln cents:1968s(gave it to my granddad for his album),1971s
Weird thing about the wheaties is,I found 3 in the same roll,2 in the same roll,2 in the same roll, and only 1 that was alone in one.I gave the 51d,57d,and both 53d's wheaties to my sister.

<< <i>Thanks LordM,I believe halves, nickels, and pennies contain the best finds in rolls. >>
You'll find a great deal of agreement on this, but in twenty years when collectors refer
to the good old days of circulation finds, they'll be talking about dimes and quarters. There
are BU rolls of all dates of the cents, nickels, halfs, and dollars. Even if you find a variety
it is unlikely to be very rare because of the rolls. The older coins you can find of these
coins will be picked over many times and while the coins may be a lot of fun and very interesting
there is scant chance they will increase in desirability or price for many decades.
There are many people looking at these denominations so the chances of finding errors is
reduced. The dimes and quarters though are mostly non existent in rolls. In some cases
they are even tough in MS-60. Some regular issue dimes and quarters already command a
significant premium in circ grades and as newbies and other collectors wake up to the situation
there is likely to be increased pressure on the supplies of these. There are numerous varieties
and errors and in some cases there are none of these in rolls or mint sets. If you find an XF
of such a coin it may be unimprovable.
You won't find many obsolete types in the dimes and quarters but you can easily locate one
of the many rarities which circulate alongside the common coins.
