I can one-up Russ on PayPal with no credit cards!

Unlike Russ, I had only two (not 50+) auctions close this weekend...

You know Russ' "No credit cards with paypal" line? Yeah... that one- you got it! Well, IT DOESN'T WORK!!!

One of the two winners first paid twice in one shot (should I have kept the few $100 and just upgraded? ), then said he'd send a check... now another PayPal payment, "done right," ...with a credit card!

And according to Russ, no one has pulled this on him yet this week... the nerve!

I had the "no credit card with PayPal" line in my first couple of auctions, capitalized and bold. I also had the paypal icon listed under "payment methods accepted", where there are pics of credit cards. Guess what happened! I just looked at one of your auctions and saw you had the same thing. After I pulled this, and just placed it in my description, it never happened again.

I only worry about confirmed address or not, how does an unverified account matter to the seller?

Personal PayPal accounts cannot accept payments from unverified PayPal users. That would require upgrading to a premiere or business account, in which case PP levies fees on all transactions regardless of funding source.

TayTay- yes that would work, but then the people who skim and don't read the description wouldn't know if paypal can be taken or not

I've always been premiere because I think more bids will offset the fees in the long run
