ASE MS69 set price decline?

Earlier in the year a 18 coin set of PCGS MS69 American Silver Eagle's were selling in the $800 range on eBay, now they are selling in the $600 range. Silver's up a little since then, so why the drop?

Because $800 was too much? image

A while back (2) board members sold me their sets for something like $1000 or $1100/set "wholesale" because I had a buyer for $100/set more and I told them it made no sense to me that they were trading at $1250+/set for what appeared to be relatively common coins. What happened...

    1. Each set had spotted coins in them, so I could only sell (1) set after I put together the best coins from the (2) sets.

    2. I have a set left with 50% spotted coins with a cost around $1000. I'll expect to lose around 1/2 my money
