Yikes, I too thought sales would be lower, especially for the gold given the proces eh Mint charged.
But it would be nice if the Mint actually got around to sending my silver dollar one of these days- I only ordered it a month ago...and the same for the Platinum proofs- I ordered 2 over a month ago and still no coins. And I'm not going to get into the Wildlife Medals I have not received.
Does anyone know the story with this? Why doesn't the Mint simlpy tell you whether it's in stock or not? Or advise of a ship date instead of saying on the order history that it will "ship 10/1/03", etc.?
Rufus T. Firefly: How would you like a job in the mint?
Chicolini: Mint? No, no, I no like a mint. Uh - what other flavor you got?
I ordered mine on the first day - still waiting for the Uncs. I got the proofs last week. I was excited to get them home, opened the package, and... ehh.

You know that Lewis and Clark is going to be popular. Edison will depend on the design - you know they're going to screw it up.
