I just couldn't keep up

The Lincolns on Teletrade tonight were hot. I couldn't get my computer to refresh fast enough. I tried to place bids at the end but the auction closed as I was furiously clicking away. I'm not sure I like the time limit format as I would have kept going on a number of lots.

  • Did you win any? Still looking for a 49-P image

  • Still don't have a clue if I was successful. Yes, the 49-P slot is still open.image

Funny, back when I was a kid in the late '70's, putting together a raw circulated set in a Whitman folder, it was the '49-P I lacked, too. The last hole I had to fill. My cousin bought it for me- a BU. That was the first BU Wheatie I had seen. I was thrilled. image

(I'm pretty sure it was the 1940-up folder- I've never had an S-VDB or a '14-D, to this day.)

  • I got nearly half a roll of raw 1949's.
