First Greg Maddux Auto Acquired (FINALLY!)

Next to McGwire and Palmeiro, Maddux is one of my favorite MLB players. While I have 1 auto of McGwire (his 85 Topps Olympic RC) and 2 of Palmeiro, until today, I had none of Maddux...he rarely signs and his autos are hard to find. My local shop has an '87 Donruss RC of his autographed but it was obtained in the days when you could just mail a card to a player and have them sign...and the card itself is poorly centered) a common issue w/that year. However, I've thought of buying that card simply to have his RC auto'ed- and I could send it in to PSA/DNA for certification.

Anyway, here's my FIRST Maddux auto- it's the LOWEST #D one I've seen sell on EBay so far- and the last/only 4 that have sold b4 this one went for 93, 103, 117, and 230.

thanks- i couldn't believe the price...and after being outbid by .50, $1, etc. at the last minute on maddux autos it's nice to FINALLY have 1!

btw good luck on your authentix box break if you pick one up...it's really a great product
