Ikes - Mint Sealed UNC/Proof Silver Dollars...give me your thoughts please

I have a set of IKEs, but think it would be cool to get some of these in the USMint containers when they released.

If you were to get the proofs, it wouldn't be too bad of a price. I couldn't sell the uncirculateds at $5.00 a pop not too long ago.

He doesn't list the shipping cost either. THAT'S enough to make me steer clear.

Considering eBay costs, their price is not an unreasonable retail price. But you are going to get randomly picked Ikes -- probably alot of 71 & 72 blues. And no chance to get the key date 73 brown -- if they randomly threw in a few of those, so you at least had a chance, then it could be interesting.

If you want the mint packaged set of 8 blue & brown Ikes -- including the key date 73 brown -- I could get them to you for $70 plus $10 insured shipping to any U.S. address.

I have the Proof 71 - S, 72 - S, and 73 - S. Don`t have the 74 - S. The 71 - S cost me $ 4.25, 72 - S was $ 4.95, and the 73 - S costed $ 26.95. I bought them around July and August of this year. I typically don`t follow prices on them but, I got the feeling at the time that I got them a little cheaper then average by about a buck or two on the 71 and 72. I`ve seen the 73`s around the upper 20`s and early 30`s. I don`t feel qualified enough to say yes or no to buy a few. I`ll let others that are more knowledgable then me to say one way or another.
