Similar program to state quarters?

The 50 State Quarter program seems to be a success. A lot of people collect them even if they do not truely know how to handle and collect. What theme would you like to see next and on the reverse of what coin??
Putting it on a half dollar may spark more coin usage and the large size gives plenty of room for great details.
Maybe Superbowl, World Series, Stanley Cup and NBA Champs?

I can think of a dozen reasons not to have high capacity magazines, but it's the reasons I haven't thought about that I need them.

As for what themes and which denominations? We've just had a new dollar coin design, so that would really leave just the dime and half dollar, with the half dollar getting the nod for having more space. I'm not sure if there would be a big upswing in getting halves to circulate--many would be hoarded. Themes? Whatever says "USA." Native species of plants, trees, birds, etc.; landmarks--natural and manmade. Pop culture--whatever falls within the parameters of what can be used as a design.
I hate it when you see my post before I can edit the spelling.

<< <i>I think a series commemorating the victories of WWII or maybe the Medal of Honor recipients. The WWII generation is almost gone and we need to recognize their sacrifices and commitment to preserving our way of life. What better way than on our coinage? >>
WWII Medal of Honor winners may be too large to be practical. For WWII there are 464. Doing 5 per year like the state quarters, you would need 93 years. Even if you only concentrated on those who gave the ultimate sacrifice and received the award posthumously, WWII had 266. So unless you did some sort of collage with maybe 4 faces (something like a Mt Rushmore pose) of the posthumous MOH recipients on the reverse of each new coin with 5 coins per year, you would still take over 13 years to complete.
Of all MOHs given in all wars, there were 19 men who received 2 MOH in their careers. Maybe featuring a portrait of those 19 with a tribute coin to the single MOH recipients (19 potraits + 1 tribute = 20) would take only 4 years to complete.

Seriously though, maybe planets, great events in America (Pearl Harbor, WTC, etc.), something (pretty much) non-controversial. Presidents and other elected officials are by and large controversial. Very few actually made a positive change on America without being controversial. We'd something almost all Americans would be proud of, or at the very least, wouldn't get upset about. And, like the Susan B.'s, we wouldn't want something most people could care less about.
I can see it now, "I'll trade you two Pluto's and a Mars for Uranus. "
