How to sell Modern Commem Set??

mrcommemmrcommem Posts: 1,175 ✭✭✭✭✭
I have a modern commemorative set of uncirculated coins. The set is missing only the WWII gold half eagle and almost all of the coins but a few early one grade MS69 or MS70. All of the key coins, the Jackie Robinson $5, the Smithsonian $5, the Library of Congress $10, the Olympic coins of 1996, all grade MS69. The are a few MS68 dollars in the set, three of the Olympic 1984 dollars and the old hag Olympic dollar....Sorry, the Shriver dollar. I have them all encapsulated by PCGS, some in green holders, some in blue. The coins I purchased directly from the mint, about 90% of them, have their original cherry box and cardboard packaging. What would be the best way the sell these? I am not pressured for time, but I would like to use the money to invest in other interest.

  • Individually on E-Bay would be your best bet. I sold my set about a month ago and did quite well through their venue. Selling the set in its entirety is difficult. I tried a few times with no success.

I agree with ClausUrch, sell them individually, but you could try the BST Forum before ebay.
