What is the best way to crack open a BVG holder?

Since the plastic is very rigid and cracks extremely easily -- it is very easy to damage your card -- the easiest of the four major grading companies.
For what it is worth, if you carefully purchase your BVG cards -- you can sometimes come out well on a cross. Just be careful to inspect in person for sheet-cut cards. (or be aware of the tell-tale signs)
I'll scan one of the slabs that I've cut in an hour or so to show you how easy it is, especially with SGC - the insert pulls right out and you don't even need to pry the slab apart.

You would be fired from PSA for lack of production....

What are the "telltale signs" of a sheet cut card? I'd like to know how to spot them.
