Chasing Numbers but just keep going Sideways. Poo.

How in the heck is a Registry Number Chaser ever going to catch other people if the coins he buys are just the same grade ? Man I have had a Bad Case of the Sideways for the last year. Oh well some nice color has entered the set. image

The latest Sideway move follows.

    Hi Ken,

I'm guessing it's a 65FB! imageimageimageimage Pretty dime. Some people chase numbers, some chase color. I think since I've known you, you've been one of the latter! Your collection has darkened up considerably since I first looked at it about a year ago.

    Ken,

Sometimes, when there is nothing but "poo" in the way of going forward, you have no choice but to step sideways to avoid it!

  • Your set may not have gone up in points but I bet you feel that it has gone up in quality. Is'nt that what collecting is(or should be) about?

    Pretty dime, Ken.

Don't feel bad about not moving up if you can find coins that you really like.

I'm going to try to snag a coin for my set later today. If I'm successful, it'll be the first change to my Mercs in a while.
