Are the newsletters valuable?

For those of you that subscribe to a newsletter (greysheet, bluesheet, etc.), do you think it's valuable information. My impression is that they are often off the mark. I've thought about subscribing, but just don't know if I would use the info or find it valuable. What are your thoughts?

I get the greysheet before each Long Beach. Although the greysheet is not a dealers price list, it is still better than nothing. I believe it is the closest there is to actual prices.

Yes, I believe it is worth the price.

I find Graysheet useful, though I don't subscribe. They have a $13.75 pack, which I usually get twice a year, a few weeks before the Baltimore shows, which I attend. I also use auction prices realized info. It's very easy with Heritage, as it's available online. The other auction houses are still way behind the modern age when it comes to their online services.

As I stated earlier, you still have to know market pricing on what specific coins with in a series are trading for, with the quality of the piece factor, demand etc. But I use it for a reference baseline sort of speak, carry it at all times.
