I'm stunned at what toners are going for on ebay. I had auctionsniper bids in on 4 of them over the weekend and wasn't even close.

Interesting that there were 3 bidders willing to pay 20 times bid for this coin. Obviously it's of importance to Relayer that the coin actually looks like the scans. For the rest of us, what's most useful to know is that IF an MS63 common date Morgan does in fact look like the scan, than it is worth around $500.

Nice pick up....and I think you got it at a very fair price, too. Love that emerald and fuchsia combo. I almost went for that one myself but instead decided to branch out a bit from my usual toned Morgan comfort zone and get this:

I liked that coin you got also and I bid on it, but decided to go after the Morgan since both wasn't an option ($$)

I'm glad we didn't bump heads on either coin so it worked out great for both of us

ditto for me--I almost decided to just go for the Morgan......it seems that both of us had enough bidders to compete against as it was without battling each other, too. Greattoning was offering many great coins this past week...it was tough to decide which one to go for broke on!

I don't think I'd call the coins twins - cousins perhaps

Maybe he didn't have the full light blaring on yours?

Robert - Thanks. I think (and hope) it will look like his picture. He does good photo work, but the coins are nice too. Anaconda had one the looked better, with more full rich colors, but he wanted $1700 for it.
