Slabbing my 26-S EF45/AU50 Lincoln

I have a really nice chocolate brown 26-S that I want to slab (PCGS). I'm thinking that it will be a "hole filler" in my registry set until I can afford a 64RD. This one is EF45/AU50 to my eye.

Is it worth it to get it graded? I'm thinking yes, but would like to hear from other Lincoln people to see if I'm on the right track. Thanks for any input.

The cost of having it slabbed would be worth more than the value of the coin itself. The 26-S is a valuable coin in mint state and hard to find, but I would wait on slabbing until you get an MS.

Coin is not worth the slab fee, but if you wanted it as a place holder, I am sure you could sell it later on E-bay and get back about 5.00 of the slab fee in the difference in price it would bring!

I think it depends on afew things. Is it an above average strike for the grade and will it make you happy? If the answer is yes to both, then maybe you should consider it.
