Link vis a vis an HTTP

I am trying to figure out why people paste HTTP addresses in a thread, rather than taking the time to post a link.

Anybody got any ideas? Pain in the neck to cut and paste, every time you want to look at a picture.

Are we Lazy, uninformed or just don't care?

Just curious is all.

I would say uninformed. It took my about a week to figure out how to post a link here. I kept trying to use real html which of course did not work.

I just didn't know how to post a link at 1st, now I do.
Now I just need to find out how to post pictures!!

For me it was computer dumbness. I didn't know for quite awhile, even though it's actually pretty easy.

Right! - Many don't know how to do it. It's like me with pics - all of mine are too big for the boards! I could re-take them with my Nikon set at the lowest reolution (for email-type pics) but that is an awful lot of duplicate effort!
