This coin should be an interesting coin to help differentiate market graders from technical graders. I saw it in change and thought it was just terrible enough to warrant a few pics, because it clearly demonstrates several things routinely talked about on the boards and rarely pictured. The coin has extreme bubbling of the barrel plating, and the dies have been HEAVILY polished. For the uninitiated, die polish lines are raised on the surface, and appear to travel under the devices rather than over them. Neat finish huh! Now, what would you grade this gem. Remember you technical graders that you are looking only for POST-strike marks.
