I cannot believe it....my first negative feedback and the guy left it by accident. He was talking about another item (I believe a case of Bowmans Best) he bought that a guy sent him his money back 3 months later.
The card I sold him ended on October 1st and I sent the card the next day. I emailed the guy to ask if he could put a clarification...but the damage is done.
All for a $2.75 Prentice Redmon card....
Is there any way to get this removed as clearly this feedback was left in error.

Im really pi$$ed as I have been on Ebay since May 1998 without a negative!!!
Please help!

I recall only one case where E-Bay pulled a negative rating, but it was a similar case to yours. where it was left by mistake by for the wrong person. if memory serves, ebay pulled the neg and let the buyer leave a different feedback rating. But that was a while ago and I think they may have changed their policy to stop the 'change' practice.
Anyone who has dealt with you knows the neg is pure crap anyway.

edited because my typing stinks
My only negative was a mistake also. The buyer of the card apologized to me afterwards but ebay wouldn't do anything about it. That is one policy I wish ebay would change.

I agree you can go to squaretrade and have it removed but its going to cost you the fee. It my opinion with perfect feedback i would pay it

post feedback without a transaction having occurred.it has
saved me a fortune since i never bought one item from bmwsprotz.
while future negatives are inevitable that solitary red stands out
as proof that bmw exercised poor judgement and lacked discipline given
their solitary stance versus 2938 positives and 0 neutrals.furthermore that
comment never stopped anyone from transactions with pc32.
John,i say move on.we like you anyway : )
Serves me right for stopping by a hobby shop during my lunch hour and opening a few packs out of boredom.
Looks like the guy did post a followup which is a good!
Complaint : after 3 mos money returned w/o shipping chg - wanted the product instead
Response by psa_collector - Neg feedback left in error..meant for a different item by another seller.
Follow-up by justbb - psa collector is correct - I picked the wrong seller - will try to resolve SORRY
John
Yes, you can easily have it removed... for $20 through a Square Trade moderator. And if I were you, I'd see if the guy that left it would step up and pay the fee (or at least 1/2 of it). I'm pretty sure whoever initiates the process with Square Trade is the one that pays the fee.
I've used them a couple of times for similar problems, and as long as you and the other party agree that it should be removed, they'll take it off.
They will even do older negatives now (I believe their rules say something about 90 days?), but I had a 1 year old retailitory negative removed a few months ago. It was from some lady that mailed me some loose cards in a sandwich baggie. I jumped the gun and neg'd her. Of course she neg'd me back, and after a few heated e-mails I eventually found out that she really just didn't know any better.
Also, if you go through Square Trade and the other party doesn't respond to the e-mails they get (in 30 days I think) , they'll remove your negative feedback. So when an older non-registered user, or a scammer (they switch their e-mail addresses all the time) doesn't respond ..... you can get rid of any retalitory hits you took from fighting evil.
It's a good service, and it works.
I think it should be a FREE service through eBay... and you shouldn't have to pay for it! But that's an issue for a different thread.
Good Luck -
Mike

Exactly! this is like Ebay's version of blackmail. If both sides agree there was an error in the Feedback, why charge $20.?
Free, or a buck or so, but $20 is insane...jay
