Anyone familiar with 2 cent pieces?

I have an 1867 II piece. The oldman left it to me. I went to PCGS/CU and found that there's an 1867 double die type. Can someone tell me what exactly I need to look for to distinguish it?. I'd appreciate it...image
What is money, in reality, but dirty pieces of paper and metal upon which privilege is stamped?

If I remember correctly, it's strong doubling on In God We Trust.

New collectors, please educate yourself before spending money on coins; there are people who believe that using numismatic knowledge to rip the naïve is what this hobby is all about.

As I recall, doubling should be rather clear when studying the lines on the shield.

The doubling on the 1867 should be clear, even to the naked eye. Can you post a pic?

Kranky had it right - it should be doubling on IGWT that shows especially strongly toward the right side of the motto, and should be easily discernible with a 5x loupe. It wouldn't be doubling on the date since the date was not hubbed into the dies for two cent coins - the date was hand punched into the individual dies, thus any doubling of the date would be independent from the rest of the design and would result in a repunched date, not a doubled die.

To add, there are also other doubled dies for the year, and there are also known repunched dates for the year. Kevin Flynn's two cent book lists a number of them.
