Help me grade this morgan please

Hey guys and gals,
Wonder if I can get others' opinions on this Morgan. I am sorry the scan doesn't show the luster or toning, but it isn't too bad on the details hopefully.
I know that it is hard grading with just a picture, so I appreciate all opinions on this one.
Thanks,
Ron
PS...sorry they are attachments, I don't have my own website to point the URL to.

However, based on that scan and the way it looks on my monitor I'd say that coin is a 4.

This one does just seem to fall short of GEM, I also go along with ms64..... But it seems to be a nice ms64...

Scans are very tough, I know, and I am trying to get better at the picture taking. My digital camera is not the type for good coin pics (canon s330..nice and small, but no macro and not good for up close).
I bought the coin for MS63 money if I recall, but as a potential MS64+ on the grade. So, I don't feel bad with it.
I have looked at it, and it does not look cleaned, but I can almost guess which part of the scan you saw to make you think that.

Please...no AU58s for me...heh...unless I get a good deal on 1895 or 1893 mintmarks
I really don't think it is a slider (my advantage is holding the coin in hand (in a 2x2 of course)). It just isn't a monster toner either...I don't have any of those yet
Like I said in another thread in the World and Ancient forum....I am a cheap@$$ so I can't justify some of the prices for the monsters yet
Maybe soon...maybe soon.....I really would like a SUPER monster coin but I know I will have to pay and pay for it.
Maybe I should sell my MS65 1888-O with nothing special about it....IF I could get close to greysheet ask for it...then I could get a semi-monster
So far, no coins sold....just a one way street TO me....one of these days one will escape.......

stman,
Yeah, when I had to reduce it to the minimal requirements in size and quality, it lost a lot of detail! LOL!
Anyway, here is a link to a larger pic, if you want to see it. It is my favorite coin in my Morgan toned collection.

Not sure the extent to which the scanner has effected the true appearance of your morgan, but I have bought coins off of scans before, and agree that scanned pictures are lack-luster. However, if I were to make a judgement based Solely on the picture, I'd go with 62 because of what appears to be muted luster.
<< <i>uofa1285....Ah, I remember that coin. Cool coin. Well with those patterns and being shrunk down no wonder I couldn't figure what it was. So I get to say I'm not soooo old now. >>
Nice icon coin yourself, stman!!!
...but you probably are old...
I dug out my records and see that I paid inbetween 63-64. I paid ~$60 for it. And, I like the coin in person (not as dull as it appears..just not overwhelming...nice solid coin for me).
So, I do think I did well, but since it isn't slabbed, I was wondering if I had missed anything on it (I am not shy to admit I have a lot to learn about grading still...especially when it goes above MS63 which I think this one is...I just don't think it has what it takes to be MS65 (I hope I am wrong though
I will keep trying to take better pics though. Some of you people take AWESOME pics (not to exclude anyone, but I off the top of my head, ksteelheader, russ, lucybop, madmarty, and frank the pug 57
I just wish the coin was a bit higher grade so I might get it slabbed....maybe as one of my freebies when I get over the "fear" of sending a few coins in for the first time....
