misidentified variety submittals

Mr Hall

1st time sending coins to PCGS. What if I misidentify a coin, i.e, I put 1831 large cent medium letters but you find it's a large letter. Do you body bag it or correct it and slab it?
What if I'd like the coin corrected and slabbed--is this something I need to put on the submission form?

We will correct any mis-attribution as the coin goes thru the grading process. We actually have a staff member whose job it is to look at attributions of the coins before they go to the grading room. The graders are aware of all varieties and they will also change anything they see that is wrong.
