went to a few atlantic city pawn shop.....complete short sets of circ walking lib halves and lincolns from 1958 to present Both very skanky and both very overpriced...... a couple of $5 gold pieces in jewelry holders, again, circ and skanky and overpriced. it doesnt deter me from going back every few months and checking...but i do believe i have better luck at the slot machines.

I scored this for 20 bucks at the Albuquerque coin show yesterday...

its in a NGC ms66 really thick white holder.... This coin is mark free and has strong luster and is a shot ms67, but should cross easily if I choose to do so.... I just thought it was a bargain..

I was in Reno last week and hit 5 or 6 coin shops/pawn shops - found a T2 $1 for a reasonable price but that was it......and one looked so promising! You know the type of store - been there 40 years, piles of stuff everyplace, owner can't find anything - justthe perfect place to find long hidden gems.....but nada. Searching the cracks is really getting hard!
