DaNutt's Errors is a long established, Massachusetts based, error Coin business dating back to 1980. DaNutt's Errors is founded and run by Mr. Pete Bishal.
Mr. Bishal handles all types of foreign and domestic error coinage while specializing in 1878 Morgan Dollar errors and varieties. At one time, Mr. Bishal owned all 4 of the 1878 VAM 44 type of Morgan Dollars. Over the years he has also owned or handled 90% of all of the 1878 VAM 44's ever discovered.
A book on George T. Morgan's development of the 1877 Pattern halves and their evolution was authored by Mr. Bishal. This book chronicled the day by day work that Morgan did to perfect the 1878 Dollar design. Portions of this book have been published in NECA's Errorscope from 1978 to 1980 as one page articles.
In 1990, Mr. Bishal wrote Chapter 5 of the VAM Book and furnished the authors with every Pattern Half photo to be included in the book.
Contributions have been made to Bower's Silver Dollar Book, Breens book and virtually every error book printed including Alan Herberts Error Encyclopedia.

He'd come by my table sit down and just start talking about 1878 Morgans. If the subject changed to Indian cents, he'd quickly find a conversation link to get the one-way conversation back on topic.
We'll miss his passion!

We'll use our hands and hearts and if we must we'll use our heads.
Pete was one of the Morgan "experts" and I for one will miss him.
I never met him, but did correspond a couple of times via chat and/or email.
