PSA Grading of 1960s Coins

I have seen PSA graded coins from the Salada and Shirriff sets that are stored in the PCGS coin type holder. These coins are not encased in the white holder that they can come in. My question is does PSA have any holder that can accomodate coins in the white holders? Are these holders even worthwhile to keep on? Does a coin with the holder intact carry a premium?
