That time of year. thought it might be fun to pick your top 5 sets from each sport from the 50,,s 60,70,s very tough to pick only 5. basebase even harder so many great sets especially from the 50,s in both sports. so to help limit things only 2 rules. set must be at least 90% and you can only pick the same person 1 time for each decade. my top five from 50,s basebase (51 bowman john branca)(52 bowman mr merkel) (55 topps mr m fogal) (53 topps anothy fito)( 59 topps jtm) from 60 bb (61 topps mcbride)(68 topps ron rihs) (63 topps duke of mint) ( 61/62 fleer john branca) (63 fleer don louchios) and my 70,s picks (70 chris renaurds) (72 bakka) (73 wanyes) (72 funky franks) (72 ejs) now are you ready for some football #1 my favorite set( wes vero 55 aa) (sarah vero 50 bowman) (56 topps greenhornet) (53 bowman stongate) and yet another great 55 set (rob ruths 55 aa,s) for 60,s football 64 philly frank evanal (60 topps stonegate ) (65 topps levi 707) (66 topps fear the fuzzdude) and (68 crazed redskin ) from the 70 no brainer in #1 72 topps CARLOS another 72 (muzeum of sports) (71 topps egaz 71) only picked 3 here. will defer on basketball not many sets listed but please feel free to pick yours. sorry i formated this horrible. note if same person could win more then 1 time for same decade we all know a few guys that rule.if anyone would like to add there top 5 pre war go for it. many many great sets out there congrats to everyone no mater what your gpa is biulding any vintage set is no easy task!!!!!!!

Thanks for your mention of my 1971 Football Set (ega2's 71 Football Set). It is a real hard set to assemble in high grade. I have bid against you on some PSA 9's. And lost. I just want to say thanks for meeting me, and the wife, during the National to help me get some real nice PSA 9's from you. You were a true gentleman and really cool. The most favorable aspect of this hobby is meeting the really decent people involved in it. And, you sir, are one of them.

Thanks for the double mention! By the way, your 1966 Topps Funny Ring set (Hot Dog) is pretty untouchable given the scarcity of those football inserts -- although I do have a batch at PSA at the moment and will drop you a line if any can help you. Any interest in '54B Redskins as I get ready to dispose of that set?

The beer was good to .Tried to email you after the show but the email i had for you was not working?. kevin sent you a mail on the 54,s you know i always want skins funnyrings who else is nuts enough to collect those crazy things . BY the way Rick from mint state has a psa 10 funnyring up now. cant not tell you guys how tough these things are to find in high grade so any other nutty collecters that want 1 of the only 2 psa 10 rings heres your chance. Rick always seems to have that imposible to find card.
