I often see posts on here from people professing not to care about registry awards, or being number 1. I'll admit to caring if I win the certificate and wanting my sets to be the very best. It doesn't motivate me to the point of buying marginal cards that I would otherwise not buy, but it does make me spend more on nice cards than I otherwise would have
