I was in my favorite card shop today, and a guy there pulled a Babe Ruth jersey/bat card #/5!!! He also got a Nolan Ryan jersey and 2 Barry Bonds jersey cards. I told him to pick my boxes for me! LOL!

    He does seem to get more than his share of great boxes! image His shop is called What's On Second, and it is here in San Antonio....

    I mentioned that to him, he was flattered! Said he does take orders over the phone if anyone is interested. He has a few out of state customers.

    Yes judgement, lol.....

    I haven't been to any Austin card shops, been to others here in town, but they are either rip offs, or so unhelpful ,or treat me like I don't know anything about cards, that I just stick with Bruces. I'm his favorite customer.......lol

    His prices can vary, of course he has to make a little profit being a shop owner, but he isn't a rip, and I get a discount usually image

    Patman ( Steve ) on here can vouch what a great guy Bruce is.....

    Joyce is right. Bruce is a great guy. He does get a bit pricey sometimes on his boxes but one thing I can say about him is that he is honest and very good to his customers. Also if a product gets hot he does not jack up the price of boxes like some other shops I know. He keeps the prices the same until he has to reorder.
