    GoSox-

I am totally committed to the A's right now. That said, once this game is over I'll be praying to every available higher power that the Sox find a way to open a whole can on the despised Yankees.

The YANKEES are waiting.........Are you sure you really want to beat the A's and have to face them?

the A's just didn't want it.
  • I haven't paced like this since '86. My heart is racing.image

Can't figure out why the A's didn't stick one in Manny's ear the at bat after he watched that one go out. Season is done, he had it coming. The A's get the Piazza Spineless Award for the nite.

You should be thanking 'cookoo' Byrd, 'MVP' (not) Tejada and the rest of the A's for their baserunning prowess.

Also thank Chavez for forgetting how to hit and the A's bullpen for forgetting how to pitch.

And who put the pin in the voodoo doll of Hudson?

  • It's great to see the BoSox move on but Manny deserves a 99 MPH fastball upset the head...trotting to first in the sixth inning...c'mon!

  • He'll get it the first pitch he faces against the A's next season. No doubt.

I'm sure the Sox will just start throwing at the Yankees as they have done all season
(in fact for the past few seasons), HPB ratio is like 3.5 to 1 between the 2 teams.
The Sox showed niether class nor batting prowress (.211 team avg.) IMHO.

It would almost be worth giving them a "bye" into the World Series so Pedro would have to step into the batters box, I hope he wears lots of protection image
  • murcer,

I can see why you picked the icon you did image

I know you are, but what am I ?

edited to beg the SM to move these silly posts to the open forum.
In typical fashion the Sox fans don't seem to know their place.
  • Coming from a typical "rain on our parade" Stankee fan who refuses to let us have our one day of glory. If these posts are silly...let the thread die.

BTW, congrats on reaching four figures. Let my bomber fans it shows you have too much to say image

hey mercer , if soriano and jeter keep diving over the plate, that hbp ratio may be going up. we need more pitchers like pedro! I just hope wakefield doesn't try to brush them back with his knuckle ball, that really won't serve much of a purposeimage
  • One of the most exciting games ever.

  • Go Red Sox! Do it!
  • I agree that Manny took too long to start running around those bases.
But c'mon! The guy had not driven in one run the entire series!
He sure drove the first ones in when it counted!!!

    Go Sox!!!
