Blank back collectors please help!

Okay today I took in a lot of 75 minis and came across a nice jax thinkin hey that'll make an 8 well flip the card over and no back WHAT wierd. Anyways do people collect blanks and what causes this any idea?

Topps simply didn't bring the backs, and they missed pulling the sheet(s) on quality control.

Seriously, when you think about how o/c, miscut, and all the other "fackups" you see that Topps let out the factory, it's really a suprise there aren't more blank backs out there.

I have numerous blank backs from Topps, mostly from modern issues like 1989.

Blank Backs or any error card can be very profitable.Of coarse year and player determines a basic value.Add in possible number of error cards exist.If graded how high.As long as the blank is clean it won't affect it's grading ability.I have a Ken Griffey Jr 88 Bellingham Blank Back BGS 9.5!!!Probably the only one,but Beckett groups it with the regular BGS 9.5's in the population report.Four seperate request to Beckett to list to have seperate as they do with other error cards with no reply.

I've been collecting Topps 206 Blank Backs. I've got 4 so far, and there are some collectors on ebay who have accumulated more. With all the variant backs in that issue, even mistakes like these are collectable.
